This week Sunday, September 15th and next Sunday, September 22nd, we welcome Kristofer Stinson, PhD, to our pulpit.
Kristofer Stinson earned his PhD in the history of religion from George Mason University before coming to Princeton Theological Seminary to pursue an M.Div. As a historian, Kristofer has written and spoken on various themes including religion, empire, sexuality, and stories and is currently completing a book on the history of archaeology and religion. Kristofer was a longtime member of the Church of the Nazarene before having to resign his membership and ministry in 2021 due to his sexual orientation. He then became part of the Presbyterian Church, USA where he still serves today. He and his fiancé, Ben, now live in Princeton with their corgi, Narya. |
